Maleny Hills Motel

Friendly service. Beautiful garden, and was nice having a cafe/restaurant there. Some shops to browse across the road. Room was nice and clean with beautiful fresh flowers and a goodie tray. Pillows were a bit lumpy and bed a bit hard for me, but okay to lay your head down and not unbearable. Overall it was okay, with a lovely friendly owner, who was very helpful. Was a great location for the Maleny botanical gardens and bird sanctuary.

Absolutely amazing and Owner Operated. Us 2x Kiwis had not long got over on a one way ticket and stayed here for a week for training purposes and changing over to Aussie licences etc, after 4 weeks in Surfers and 1 week in Taigum prior to coming here. We stayed in Room No. 4, 1 queen bed room. So it's fair we can rate this room fairly honestly from what we had come from. The cleanliness of these rooms is outstanding and the owners were so friendly. Great free , covered parking, outside the front of your room, a private seated area at the back of your room where smokers are welcome.... Hallelujah!!! Superb shared, covered and lit BBQ area. Great room, with the most amazing sheets (I'm not kidding) and comfort, closet and draws so not living out of a suitcase, beautiful bathroom with good pressure shower, and lovely near full kitchen (good size fridge (freezer box holds frozen goods frozen👍), microwave, kettle, toaster, alarm clock, hairdryer etc provided and good storage space). Fresh cut flowers, fruit and chocolate supplied in room on check in was an added bonus on top of milk, tea and coffee (with a coffee plunger included). The owners even brought us over a bowl of cherry tomatoes they had picked... will come back if ever in the area again. Superb stay!
